Method and boundaries

About Xiao Bazi

A second perspective, not a fixed verdict. Xiao Bazi translates Four Pillars structure into practical prompts for relationships, work, spending and daily decisions.

What this means: calculation rules should be inspectable, uncertainty should stay visible, and advice should return to actions a person can review in real life.

Three editorial principles

No fear

No claim that a purchase or remedy is required to prevent harm.

Clear limits

No guaranteed health, legal, financial, relationship or timing outcome.

Reviewable actions

Prefer a small decision that can be checked later over a broad good-or-bad label.

How the method is used

The operator began systematic BaZi study in 2018 and uses a structure-first approach. The chart is examined before its language is translated into ordinary decisions. Element counts, Day Master strength, seasonal context and interactions are not treated as interchangeable shortcuts.

The English preview deliberately states its limits: it uses a Gregorian date, UTC+8 civil time, leaves an unknown hour blank and does not apply birthplace, historical daylight-saving or true solar-time correction. See the full calculation audit guide.

Birth information is sensitive

The English calculator preview runs locally in the browser and does not send its birth inputs to the server. Other report flows may require server processing, so the processing path must be stated where data is collected.

Do not post a full birth date, exact time and birthplace publicly when a general question is enough. Share only the minimum chart detail needed.

Start with the rules

Use the free English calculator, compare its assumptions with another tool, and keep both candidate charts when a boundary convention is unresolved. A different documented school is not automatically a calculation error.

For interpretation boundaries, see why Peach Blossom is not a relationship verdict. Before purchasing a reading, compare its evidence, delivery and privacy terms with the BaZi report pre-purchase checklist.
